2 Week Bridal Course
Our ten-day course provides an invaluable insight into the skill required to produce beautiful wedding bouquets, posies and head-dresses. The student will work with all types of fresh flowers and foliage and learn the delicate technique of wiring, the key factor in creating a successful bouquet, whether of a formal structure or a more natural design.
The flowers used will range from the common, readily available varieties to the more unusual and exotic, with instruction not only on wiring but on how to combine varieties that will emphasise selected details of the bride’s complexion and stature, style of dress and choice of fabric.
Displays for the wedding ceremony, pedestals and pew-ends will be demonstrated and the student encouraged to build on a selected theme for use throughout the occasion.
This short but intensive course will give instruction on how to achieve all this whilst capturing the distinctive natural quality for which we are renowned. All materials required by the student will be provided.
